Hello my money saving friends. Once again I have a generic vs name brand product comparison. I have dry skin especially when it starts getting cold outside. A few years ago I discovered Equate Deep Moisture Body Wash. It cost $3.47 for a 24 oz bottle. Dove Deep Moisture Body Wash cost $5.97 for a 24 oz bottle. (Sorry I was only able to find pictures of the 2 packs.) They have the same active ingredients just a different name on the label. Why would you pay more for a name? Equate has 5 different generic body washes from the Dove Go Fresh Nutrium Moisture Body Wash line. Equate has a Cool Moisture Body Wash with Cucumber and Green Tea Sent, Deep Moisture Body Wash, Exfoliating Body Wash, Moisturizing Body Wash for Extra Dry Skin with Shea Butter, Sensitive Skin Body Wash. All of these Equate Body Washes have the same active ingredients as their Dove Body Wash counterparts and the bottles are the same size too. The only difference is the Equate brand are $3.47 a bottle and the Dove brand is $5.97 a bottle. That is a savings of almost $2.50 a bottle. So save your money and don’t just buy a product because of the name on the label. Read the ingredients and compare prices. Buy Equate body and beauty products it will save you money.
